Inventory Control

Inventory management is the key to being able to satisfy customer orders without having capital tied up in excess or spoiled goods.

The constant challenge of keeping the right amount of the fast moving items and not reordering too much of the slow movers can keep a manager busy full-time if the automated inventory control system doesn't do its job. Astra offers multiple levels of 'SCIENTIFIC' inventory management for single or multiple warehouses, providing the opportunity to grow into more sophisticated techniques as business grows. The Astra System handles up to three discrete units of measure per item allowing absolutely accurate tracking of whole cases, broken case quantity, and catch weights. Lot tracking is enabled on an item basis and may be manually or automatically assigned.

Large Fish Grading System

Handles the grading of pre-graded (labeled) or un-graded product, provides a complete audit trail and additional reports, handles splitting a box to create additional boxes or pieces, provides instant label printing for the split box or piece, and allows grading detail information displays in the system’s Inventory Information Center.

Inventory Information System

The Astra System is designed to get the information to the people who need it without having to sift through reams of paper. The Inventory Information Center shows you everything you need to know about an item. Stock status Displays what's on hand, available (not committed), on-order from the vendor, and more - for a selected warehouse or all warehouses. And because every company has different priorities, clients can decide what information they want displayed on this screen.
