Item and Warehouse Features

Items are assigned to merchandise classes

The classes allow for grouping of sales history, sales discount groups, and general ledger account relationships.

Inventory Costing and Warehousing

• Tracks up to three units of measure per item for REAL inventory control
• All inventory items in each warehouse are tracked by average, last, and standard costs. In addition, FIFO, LIFO or Lot Costing may be used.
• Multiple vendors may exist for an item with their individual purchase pack and price
• Receipts and transfers automatically convert multiple units of measure. Astra enables you to stock in bulk in one warehouse and then transfer into another warehouse automatically changing the units to the correct stock quantity.
• Supports automatic conversions of variable selling, pricing, purchasing, and stocking units of measure
• Optional multiple item locations in one warehouse
