POINT OF SCALE

Astra’s Point of Scale seamlessly integrates digitally capable scales to the Astra software system. Using a flexible set of programs, it captures weight data automatically, instantly, and accurately, eliminating the need for weights and labels to be manually written. Paper handling decreases, inaccuracies are eliminated and processing productivity improves.

Point of Scale allows Astra System users to select from three operational modes — fast food mode which presents sales order lines for items to be packed or cut, the amount of finished product ordered for each line, the total amount that is needed and the total whole product required to make it; whole order, which fills one complete customer order at a time; and direct scan which works in conjunction with pre-printed bar coded pick labels or pick slips.

GRAPHICAL TRUCK ROUTING SYSTEM

Designed to help companies that route trucks by displaying complex information in an easy to understand format, Astra’s Graphical Truck Routing System:

Quickens the routing process by allowing direct modification of order information with various tools to assist the routing manager

Displays all routes and loads for specified date

Prints Load Sheets and Delivery Tickets

Changes stop numbers easily

Handles multiple loads on each route

Gives the ability to check the order detail lines

Displays all orders for a specific route with address, weight and other key information

Allows for easy drag & drop orders from one route to another

BAR CODED ORDER FULFILLMENT

Via bar code scanning, clients can not only achieve stringent control over inventory, but salesreps also know what is available for sale at any time and orders are filled quickly and accurately. Using a wireless RF Terminal or handheld scanner, information on any item, box or lot and the catch weight is instantly captured and validated to efficiently fill orders. Errors dramatically decrease because information is no longer input and handled manually.
