AFS Advanced Enterprise EDI
eCommerce capabilities through EDI functionality
AFS Advanced Enterprise EDI utilizes Electronic Data Exchange (EDI) functionality to provide the exchange of business data in standard formats. In EDI, information is organized according to a user-defined format set by both parties, allowing a "hands-off" computer transaction that requires no human intervention or re-keying on either end. Typical applications include sending and receiving purchase orders, acknowledgements, invoices and other standard types of business transactions. Using the EDI standard interface, AFS Advanced Enterprise Business Management can create and read files (ASCII and XML) for EDI transaction and translation software.
