OMS Laptop Order Entry
Running on the Windows operating system, including Windows 7, as a standard-solution, this module provides real-time sales management information to the sales representative (DSR) when connected to the order entry server via a LAN or the Internet. When disconnected, information from the last connection is retained on the laptop's hard drive. Once reconnected, all orders entered offline are transmitted to the order entry server.
The order entry server is updated in real-time with the ERP system, ensuring a timely and accurate flow of information between the sales person and the ERP system. Customer information, order history & guides, pricing, deals/rebates, cost and inventory are calculated directly on the laptop. Powerful margin analysis capability provides information regarding profitability and commission (if desired) of a particular sale at a particular price level.

Able to connect to your existing ERP system or the AFS OMS Server, AFS Laptop can be used as a totally independent "ERP for Sales" system. The AFS OMS Server has the same powerful pricing and costing methodology as the industry-leading AFS ERP system, but in a stand-alone module. The application provides DSRs with accurate, up-to-date information and complete access to the company's master product list – complete with the ability to maintain customized order history files for each account.
