AFS Technologies offers comprehensive training for new clients, and ongoing training options to accommodate new employees, system and technology updates and new product purchases for existing clients. Specialized training sessions can also be scheduled depending on the clients needs and requirements.

AFS ERP Crystal
The AFS ERP Crystal class is a hands-on reporting learning experience. Students will learn what goes on behind the scenes to produce and generate reports within AFS ERP. As well as, create reports, customize invoice forms and modify existing reports. All tools required in generating a AFS ERP report will be introduced, tools such as, Uniface, Meta-Data and Crystal Reports. Attendees will learn about the tools, as well as, how we pass messages to keep language independent or dynamically paint columns. At the completion of the course, students will have the basic knowledge and have a better understanding of the tools to generate custom forms and reports using the AFS ERP Crystal Reporting Subsystem.

AFS ERP / FoodDISTRIBUTE Suggested Purchase Orders
The Suggested Purchase Order class takes an in-depth view of the code files and master files required to generate a recommended suggested buying quantity based on key field criteria and prior purchase & sales history. The class will discuss and explain the SPO report various data elements as well as the calculation to achieve the results. At the completion of this course, students will have the general understanding of the setup requirements, better understanding of the report and ability to begin using the SPO functionality

AFS ERP / OMS Pricing
The OMS Pricing class offers an in-depth view and describes the variable components of pricing. The class will discuss the various elements of pricing/discounts/promotions and demonstrate the various methods of establishing a loaded sales cost with the use of cost or sales elements. At the completion of this course, students will have the general understanding of the various methods and pricing options available.

AFS WEB 101
The AFS WEB session is a hands-on training overview for end-users to process and enter orders. The class offers an in-depth view and demonstrates the easy of entering orders, running reports and basic end-user troubleshooting. The class is directed at end-users who would be using the Web application and requires a general understanding. The class setting is ideal for sales managers, potential new customers, or your sales reps new prospects. At the completion of this course, students will have the general understanding of the Web application and the simplicity behind processing an order via the Internet.

AFS Laptop 101
The AFS Laptop session is a hands-on training overview for sales reps and end-users who will be processing remote orders. The class offers an in-depth view and demonstrates the application from a sales representative point of view, offering hints on how to present and retrieve pivotal information easily in front of any potential client. The class is directed at sales representatives looking for more of an insight of how to better communicate and consult with their customers. The class setting is ideal for sales managers, sale reps or customers without laptops. At the completion of this course, students will have the general understanding of the AFS Laptop application and how sales reps can become more consultants than order takers.

AFS ERP / FoodDISTRIBUTE / Astra Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)
The EDI class will describe the basic concept behind EDI and the industry specific need being requested by your suppliers and/or customers. In addition, the class will offer a general overview of the functionality of our EDI module with discusses on how to apply the application within your organization. At the completion of this course students will have general knowledge of EDI requirements and strong understanding of how the AFS EDI module answers those requirements.

Accounts Payable
The Accounts Payable Class will be a general overview of the basic menu and functionality throughout the AP module. This class is targeted at new employee and/or employees looking for a refresher course on the basic features within AP. At the completion of this course, students will have a general knowledge of how to process an AP voucher, process checks, and month-end general practices.

Accounts Receivable
The Accounts Receivable Class will be a general overview of the basic menu and functionality throughout the AR module. This class is targeted at new employee and/or employees looking for a refresher course on the basic features within AR. At the completion of this course, students will have a general knowledge of how to process cash receipts, create AR memos, required customer master fields, manage disputed invoices, process NSFs and month-end general practices.

General Ledger
The General Ledger Class will be a general overview of the basic menu and functionality throughout the GL module. This class is targeted at new employee and/or employees looking for a refresher course on the basic features within GL. At the completion of this course, students will have a general knowledge of setting up financial statements, better understanding of the trial balance reports, entering of journal entries and month-end general reconciliation process.

FoodDISTRIBUTE / AFS ERP / ASTRA / EAGLE Introduction 101
The ERP introduction class will be a general overview of the basic menu navigation, code file overview and functionality for the entire ERP. This class is targeted at new employee and/or employees looking for a refresher course on the basic understanding of the ERP functionality and the various modules. At the completion of this course, students will have a general knowledge of the ERP features, security setup, ability to navigate throughout the system, understanding of reports and system administration.
